Somer Events is a Utah-based wedding planning and design company specializing in elevated, intentional celebrations that feel timeless, personal, and effortlessly seamless.

Founded by Katelyn Cutler, Somer Events was built from a lifelong love of bringing people together through meaningful gatherings. Raised in the mountain town of Heber City, Utah, Katelyn grew up believing that the smallest details often leave the biggest impression. With a background in Family & Consumer Science Education and Entrepreneurship from Utah State University, Katelyn brings a unique combination of organization, design, and logistics to the planning experience. Her expertise in timelines, vendor coordination, styling, and event execution allows clients to feel fully present throughout their wedding day while every detail is handled with care behind the scenes.

Alongside a talented team, Somer Events offers full-service wedding planning, partial planning, month-of coordination, event styling, & florals. Inspired by timeless design, European aesthetics, and elevated celebrations, we believe every event should feel personal.  

Somer Events is available for both Utah and destination events and weddings. With experience coordinating travel and accommodations for groups, we understand the logistics that come with creating seamless experiences for guests traveling from near and far.
